Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often: how shared cabins work, what it costs, what paperwork you need, and what happens from booking to arrival.
- How shared-cabin pricing works and what a seat includes.
- Deposit, refund, and 24-hour-hold terms.
- Documentation required per destination.
- What happens if a flight doesn't fill or a date changes.
How pricing works
Shared-cabin flights are priced per seat. A seat includes one person and one in-cabin dog, plus documentation concierge and FBO boarding. Additional seats for travelling companions are available on the same flight. Deposits are fully refundable within the first 24 hours.
What paperwork you need
Requirements vary by destination and origin. For EU and UK travel, expect an EU Pet Passport or Animal Health Certificate, up-to-date rabies vaccination, microchip ID, and (for the UK) tapeworm treatment before arrival. GCC destinations add a rabies titre and a destination import permit.
If a flight does not fill or a date changes
If a scheduled cabin does not reach minimum occupancy, Pet Air Valet reschedules to the next viable date and offers a full refund to travellers who prefer not to shift. Dates that change for operational reasons (weather, crew, aircraft) carry the same refund option.
