How do changes and cancellations work?

Options depend on confirmation. Before confirmation there may be flexibility. After confirmation, flights cannot be cancelled. Contact us early if plans change.

Because Pet Air Valet journeys are scheduled and shared, each journey needs a minimum number of travellers to remain viable. For that reason, the options for changes depend on whether the journey has been confirmed.

Before the journey is confirmed

If your plans change before we confirm the journey, you may have more flexibility. The specific outcome depends on timing and the stage of the booking, as set out in the Terms & Conditions.

After the journey is confirmed

Once a journey is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. This rule protects the viability of the journey for all families travelling.

If your plans change

We understand that travel plans can shift. Where possible, we work with clients with discretion to help find a practical solution.

If you think you may need to make a change:

  • Contact Assistance as soon as possible
  • Share your journey details and the change you need
  • We will review the options available under the Terms & Conditions and guide the next step

Pet Air Valet coordinates in-cabin pet travel journeys. We are not an airline. All flights are operated by licensed air carriers or aircraft operators.

How confirmation works

Pet Air Valet operates a shared-cabin model. Each journey typically requires a minimum of 6 to 8 travellers.

  • We aim to confirm journeys 30 days before departure
  • In all cases, confirmation is no later than 7 days before departure
