For travel within the EU and between the EU and Switzerland, your dog needs an EU Pet Passport issued by an authorised vet, a valid rabies vaccination, and microchip identification. Switzerland follows the same framework; other non-EU European destinations use an Animal Health Certificate route instead. The passport stays with the dog across the flight, and the concierge verifies each document before boarding.
The UK requires tapeworm treatment administered between one and five days before arrival, an up-to-date rabies vaccination, microchip identification, and either an EU Pet Passport or an Animal Health Certificate for non-EU origins. Approved entry points are limited; the concierge books a compliant route.
Gulf destinations each have their own rules. Most require a rabies titre test (RNATT) meeting a minimum antibody threshold (typically ≥ 0.5 IU/ml), an official export health certificate endorsed by the origin country, and a destination-issued import permit. Lead times run from two weeks (Dubai) to three months (some Saudi routes).
US entry (CDC) requires dogs to be at least six months old, ISO-microchipped, and healthy on arrival, with a CDC Dog Import Form receipt completed before travel; arrivals from rabies-free or low-risk countries — including the UK, the EU, and the UAE — need no additional rabies serology. Canadian entry (CFIA) needs a valid rabies vaccination certificate for dogs over three months, with no quarantine. The concierge completes the paperwork for both.
